Remember I mentioned that the tall chipped ice would fall in Perito Moreno 1 image http://natrader.aminus3.com/image/2009-03-21.html? Well, this is it. The ice was falling all the time making this unforgettable thunder like sound. But the sound was coming not from the cracking but the ice slamming into the water. It was very difficult to spot it on time and manage to focus the camera. This piece was large enough and the timing allowed me to take this photo.
