Hugged by light

I am standing before you
In the light of hope
I` m letting your warmth hug me
I `m raising the white flag
I `m stepping out in the open

To let you know I`m here
To surrender my fear
To hand over my doubts...

I sense the assurance
I hear the promise
The world will get brighter

I let your light hug me
With it`s tender vibrance.

(I don`t know what has come over me, I never wrote anything before, But all of a sudden I felt like writing. And may be I will never do it again... But here for some bizarre reason I couldn`t help myself. So, PLEASE, don`t be too judgmental about the 'commentary part'). And please, give me all you want about the photography here.

I think I need to thank all of you on A3 for inspiring me, helping me to discover myself through photography. This community means a lot to me!!!
In a couple of weeks I will celebrate 1(ONE) year since I started my photographic journey and as well joined A3!!!

I am very excited!!!

@Ti: Well, thank you, Ti. Do I like dark? Not necessary, I like light, I like contrast, I like color, I like balance. I don`t like the obvious, I don`t like not thinking, not feeling, not wondering. I am not interested in flat and dull, I like sparkles. But no, I am not dark person. I am full of live, happiness and my life is very exciting and full. This is the only way I can live it!

@grouser: Thank you for your comment. The only adjustment I had here was increase of saturation and that`s about it. The color on the girl is a light flare that happened to hug her. Lucky me!

I've really enjoyed reading your poems (yesterdays in particular struck a chord with me) and I applaud your bravery, it's not easy to put yourself out there in words. Photography is hard enough for me!

@Margie: Thank you so much for the wonderful words, Margie!!! I might ruin it for you, but the word in this series are not really me, or my feeling at least... It feels more like an echo of something familiar, may be deep in my subconscious, may be something in my past... But they just spilled out of me and I felt I had to write!
