I don`t usually get very political. But today I can`t help it!
I dedicate this and the next few images to the extraordinary event that took place yesterday. Let the light enter our world with our hopes and our believes and our love and strength!!!
Oh Nataly, the light is just superb. It makes this image stretch far and wide. The detail on the ground, those colours and of course those shadows just make this all so perfect.
It reminds me of Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In by "The Fifth Dimension":
When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars
This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius
Age of Aquarius
Aquarius!
Aquarius!
Harmony and understanding
Sympathy and trust abounding
No more falsehoods or derisions
Golden living dreams of visions
Mystic crystal revelation
And the mind's true liberation
Aquarius!
Aquarius!
Let the sunshine, let the sunshine in, the sunshine in
Let the sunshine, let the sunshine in, the sunshine in
Let the sunshine, let the sunshine in, the sunshine in
......
The sunshine has finally penetrated in... and I'm glad to see it in my life time...:-)

Beautiful shot, can't believe this is film too!
The beam of light is exactly what we need, a new hope and direction to take us out of the dark hole.

@Howard F.: Why?! Even though my first camera was digital, I am deeply in love with film and I bow to it. And please forgive me, but no digital can deliver and translate warmth as much as film does. The tones and the grain... oh, how beautiful and hugging it is. Anyway, let me tickle you pride: taken at Lacey Park, Pasadena! Boy, what a jewel it is!!!
This is truly magical. How are you achieving these photos? It's film, what camera and film do you use. More important, you keep evolving in talent and visual power --congrats.

@Luis A. De Jesus R.: Thank you so much, Luis! Thank you for the great compliment and cheering words. I`ve always loved film. I guess that is why I spent so many years working in the movie business and married a cinematographer. Though I touched the camera almost a year ago for the first time and it happened to be digital, my true love is film. This was shot on Hasselblad 553ELX, Fuji film. But as well I took a workshop with an amazing photographer and educator who has inspired and helped me to see and think in a different manner. May be not different but very open with no borders. You are one of the very few people who were so supportive throughout the whole year. I greatly appreciate it!!!
