I wasn`t sure whether to post this one or not. I wish the man was more in focus. But he was such a character that I couldn`t pass on it.

The man being out of focus doesn't really detract from the picture. Nice effect you've created.

@Vink: Thank you for your support!
I've just come back for another look. It's a shame the sharpest thing in the picture is the stone walls. It kind of draws your eye in. I'd be tempted to treat it to a bit of motion blur in Photoshop and see how it looks then. I still really like it though... That's why I've come back for another look :)

@Mike: Thank you, Mike! I took it with the Lensbaby and the man was standing so I thought I was save as I placed my focus. But then he moved and walked out of the focus point. I am glad you like it anyway.
Beautiful effect

@Helma: Thank you, Helma.
I think it's a great shot with a lot of character. It's a little bit mysterious and anonymous.

@Jean-Benoît Maréchal: Thank you, I am very glad that the lack of focus doesn`t bother you.

yay for the Lensbaby! i've been waiting for you to post lensbaby photos! i like the blur because it feels like he's moving toward it...so even though you weren't planning on him moving...he did and the lensbaby just enhances it even more... i read a blog post today about great photos we take that were actually "mistakes"....you should add it to the blog! www.shuttersisters.com

Lensbaby? I love the results. I know the feeling, but what I usually do is wait a few days or week --even weeks-- before I am willing to look at a composition that makes any sense. If after a while it still captivates me then I have achieved something I can live with.
Great image.

@Luis A. De Jesus R.: Thank you, Luis. I know what you are talking about. I usually do the same. This photo was taken 2 months ago and I kept looking at it. And yes, I wish it was sharper and more defined, though there is something about it that makes me like it more then most of my photos.
j'aime beaucoup le mouvement dans cette image, avec tout ce flou. C'est très bien réalisé.

There is a great sweeping motion here...I'm glad you posted it. Great shot!
