@Ruben Latre: Thank you, Ruben. When I went there I thought that I would be able to get a bunch of cool shots but... The desert lighting was so flat that even really interesting faces and moments that looked worthy snapping camera at turned out to be simply "paparazzi" style of photography. And the event itself was that kind... So in this shot I simply got very lucky.
Love the lighting!

@Luis: Thank you very much, Luis. I just got lucky with this one because of the flare. But otherwise in a flat desert light everything was coming out pretty boring.
Your photography is coming on really well Nataly....I really liked this one!

@Ian Bramham: Thank you very much, Ian! As you probably read my response to other comments, I got lucky with this shot since shooting in an open desert with flat light is not as much fun as I thought it would be. But the event itself was a lot of fun..
very nice shot .
I like it.

@Margie: Thank you very much, Margie!
Beautiful capture, you have used the aperture for selective focus, and the backlight - although very strong enhances the scene. The lens flare is a bit of a nuisiance though.

@Observing: Thank you very much! Now as I am looking at this image I do agree about the role of the back light. Though when I posted it I saw it in my memory as a rather flat light. But in the shot the umbrella enhances the light a lot. I greatly appreciate the comment and looking forward to more with your critiques.
I like this picture. It might be possible to reduce the lens flare on her head by darkening only this circle. Give it a try if you have time...

@akarui: Thank you very much. I appreciate your comment and critique. It is great. And it gives me a chance to consider options... Though I personally like the flare, I love flares in general... I think it makes this image different,.. mine...
Effective backlighting and perfect exposure. Nice colors.

@Anita: Thank you, Anita! Glad you like it. To be honest this image seams a bit busy to me... But it seams like many people like it...
If it is too busy for you, and I can see what you mean, you might crop out the distracting elements and see how you like it.
