@Ian Bramham: I am very grateful for your encouraging words, Ian. I am very glad you liked it.
I feel like with the new camera I hit the obstacle of the technical part of the process. It really gets on the way and overshadows the emotions. But I understand that it just a matter of time.

Great shot. I believe they're Alder trees, and they're beautiful in spring as the leaves are budding. Did you take these in the San Gabriel Mtns?

@Howard F.: Thank you, Howard for your comment. Yes, we went fishing last weekend to Angel`s forest. Right off Azusa. I believe it is very close to where you are. It`s hard to believe that we have places like this in LA!

I hike in the canyons of Altadena a lot. Eaton, Rubio, Las Flores, Millard Canyons... just to name a few. No fish in these waters but there are several majestic falls. I took a similar shot like you did here a few weeks back in March- HERE. They're simply beautiful, very hard not to take a snap!

@Howard F.: I`ve never been there. My husband and my kid love to fish, so we go to the fishing spots. He is only 3, so the real hiking is still a bit hard for him. But I am looking forward to visiting your spots. We are kind of new to LA, from NY, and we are just getting more familiar with the area.
