You need to get a DSLR as soon as you can as your photographic skills are better than your camera despite the wonderful Leica camera that it is!
I was in the same position as you till November and didn't realise it until other photo-forum members persuaded me to switch from a Fuji F31 (lovely compact) to a Nikon D40 DSLR......I saw an immediate difference in the quality of images I was able to produce once I got the new camera and I think you are in the same situation....go for it!

@Ian Bramham: Thank you, Ian. I agree. This photo was taken a couple of months ago. But I just got Nikon D80, so I am trying to switch. The transition is not easy since I don`t know how to use it yet. I am not familiar with all the technical part of the process. So I enrolled myself into a class.
I will try to work hard and hopefully soon you will see some difference. Plus I`d like to learn some of the post effects as well since every photo could use some work.
